(one of the most important aspect to consider in the sauna building)
In order to avoid the heat dispersion - another factor to consider for a perfect insulation - is the coating of insulating material with ALUMINUM PAPER (high thickness). This must be placed immediately below the wooden boards inside the sauna, covering the insulating material (glass wool, rock wool, etc..), with the aluminized side facing into the sauna. The ALUMINUM PAPER has two main functions:
• THERMO BARRIER (prevents heat from escaping out of the sauna and reflected in it).
• STEAM BARRIER (prevents condensation by reducing the thermal bridge between outside and inside temperature).
The fixing is carried on the structure (below wooden boards) by a simple cilincher. The joints between the sheets are then sealed by a special ALUMINUM TAPE (see In our catalogue). The ALUMINUM PAPER produced by Harvia has these features:
